Mass Cut Analysis
Mass cut analysis is used to calculate parameters such as fill volume, cut volume, fill area, cut area, and unfilled cut area for a specified area. This feature applies to terrain data and is only supported in spherical scenes.
Fill and cut analysis is widely used in the analysis of earthwork in the process of building construction, which can assist in the comparison and selection of building engineering schemes.
Operating steps
- Click the Terrain Analysis - Mass Cut Analysis button to switch to the Mass Cut Analysis Settings panel.
- Set parameters such as sampling distance and additional height . Sampling Distance is the sampling interval in meters, and the default value is 1. Additional height is in meters and defaults to 0.
- Click the Analyze button, and in the 3D scene, left-click the area where the mass cut is drawn, and right-click to end the drawing.
- After drawing, click Get Results to display the mass cut area, volume, and other values obtained from the analysis in the Mass Cut Information Panel.
- Mass cut analysis results are shown in the following figure.
- When the analysis is complete, click Clear to clear the scene's analysis results.
