Video release
The video drop function supports dropping specified video files into 3D scenes for playback according to parameters set by SuperMap iDesktop/iDesktopX, which can be used to simulate real situations occurring in videos.
attention
- In Unreal Engine 5.0, you need to set the geographic origin before you can use this feature.
- In Unreal Engine 5.0, since DX12 does not support this feature for the time being, you need to select DX11 in Unreal Engine - Project Settings - Platform - Windows - Default RHI before using this feature.
The specific operation steps are as follows:
- Click Scene - Video Delivery to pop up the Video Delivery Settings panel.
- Video types: Local video and streaming. Local video refers to local video files (*.mp4) and streaming refers to online video files (*.mp4).
- Release information: including the observation point coordinates, azimuth angle, pitch angle and roll angle of video release. By clicking Select after the option box, the Choose File dialog box pops up, select the *.xml file containing the placement information, click Open , and you can complete the operation of adding the placement information.
- Video file: Select the desired local video file. By clicking the option box after the selection , pop up the Choose File dialog box, select the file containing the video *.mp4, click Open , you can complete the operation of adding video files.
- If streaming is selected, enter the online video address in the streaming URL text box.
- After setting parameters, click Drop to drop the video to the specified point for playback.
- Click Clear to clear the videos dropped in the scene.
