Through the layer operation panel, perform layer transformation, tilt pressure and object display and hiding operations. This feature only supports S3M tile data (*.scp).
Left click the More button after specifying the layer, and select Layer Operation from the pop-up menu, and the Layer Operation Panel will pop up.
Layer transformation
Used to set the translation parameters of the layer on which the S3M tile is located to translate the layer as a whole.
- Click More -> Layer Operations -> Layer Transformation after the specific layer, and the Layer Transformation Panel pops up.
- X: If desired, you can set the translation distance in meters along the X axis by entering a numerical value directly and pulling the slider.
- Y: If desired, you can set the translation distance in meters along the Y axis by entering a numerical value directly and pulling the slider.
- Z: If desired, you can set the translation distance in meters along the Z axis by entering a numerical value directly and pulling the slider.
Oblique flattening
Use to flatten oblique photographic 3D models within the drawing area of the scene. This feature is only available in UE4.27\UE5.2 version. The procedure is as follows:
- Click More -> Layer Actions -> Tilt Flat after a specific layer to pop up the Layer Transformation Panel.
- Click Flattening , left mouse click to draw the flattening area in the scene, right mouse click to finish drawing, you can flatten the oblique photography 3D model in the drawing area in the scene.
- The flattening effect is shown below.
- Click the Clear button to clear the scene of the oblique photographic 3D model flattening effect.
Object visibility
It is used to control the appearance and concealment of objects in building white model, city fine model, BIM and other data stored by S3M tiles.
- Click More -> Layer Actions -> Object Display and Hide after the specific layer, and the Object Display and Hide panel pops up. Then click the left mouse button to select an object in the layer of the current scene, and then set it up according to your needs.
- Hide: Hide the selected object, and the scene displays unselected objects in that layer.
- Show Only: Only selected objects are shown in the scene, unselected objects in the layer are hidden.
- Show All: Displays all objects in this layer in the scene.
